One of the first digital artists I got to know in the NFT space was MENTAL NOISE. Hailing from Columbia, her work is somehow simultaneously visually gripping (colorful, always colorful), hip (yeah, that’s a Labubu on the LV duffel, but in an ironic sort of way), politically relevant (fuck off fascists), humorous, etc. etc. etc. … there’s never ever a dull moment with MN.

There’s always some sort of orange. There’s always a bunny. And, no matter how seemingly tame, there’s always some social commentary. Absolute visual carnage and I love it. Fucking love this artist.

MN takes risks. She’s not safe. Neither her art, or her physical safety. She doesn’t pull any punches. And, in Columbia, that puts one at risk. (Hell, America isn’t far behind at this rate.) I fucking applaud artists who say what needs to be said regardless of the consequences. Punk AF.

Learn her work. Love her work. Get one of them fancy crypto wallets, and go get some.
